Kanika Aeri is an Intellectual Property lawyer practicing in the field of law since the year 2004, based in New Delhi. Kanika has a well-rounded experience of Intellectual Property laws (IP laws) and has been advising, strategizing and managing the IP portfolios of national and international clients. She has expertise in efficiently handling IP matters including trade marks, copyright and designs. She also assists clients on IP licensing, assignments, auditing, contract drafting and negotiation, business venture evaluation and due diligence. She has experience in conducting civil raids pertaining to trade marks enforcements particularly counterfeit issues for various industries including Food and Beverages, Liquor, Fashion Accessories, Cosmetics, FMCG etc.

 

She is an empanelled Trade Mark Facilitator under the Government of India scheme for Startups Intellectual Property Protection (SIPP).  

 

She has also made contribution in the academic field and wrote few chapters of the book titled “ADRs A Special Focus on The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996”.
